Only a short trip on the Victoria line to Highbury and Islington, or jump on the 56 bus to Essex road (Cross
street stop) and visit this charming puppet theatre. Lots of shows during the year catering to various ages.
There are also puppetry related courses and classes for kids and a youth theatre for 11-17's as well as

Vue Cinema Westfield Stratford City
Our most local BIG cinema complex, and if you are willing to get up a bit earlier on the weekend and in school holidays you can take advantage of the 'Kids AM' movie screenings. Tickets are just £1.75 (or £3 for 3D). The Kids AM films are usually a few months old, but it's worth delaying seeing something when it is first released and waiting until you can see it for a third of the price!
Top Tip: Don't waste money and time queing for the unhealthy selection of snacks and drinks at the cinema. If you pop around the corner to Pret you can grab a bag of popcorn for around £1, and it tastes just as good! If you want to be really good you can also get smoothies and fruit. If the film showing takes you into lunchtime we enjoy a cinema picnic and pick up a sandwich too! You can also grab yourself a coffee to get you through the movie without dozing off!
