The Art of the Brick - Art with Lego!

 

Take a trip on the train to Liverpool Street station (from Walthamstow, Wood St or St James St) and just a few minutes walk away on Brick Lane is the Old Truman Brewery.

 

Nathan Sawaya’s ART OF THE BRICK exhibition is created with millions of LEGO building blocks and is unique in its scope which ranges from new conceptual pieces to replicas of iconic classical artwork. This travelling exhibition is one of the most extraordinary and innovative exhibitions in recent memory and it speaks to all ages.

 

MORE THAN 75 PIECES OF ART

Change your view of what these little bricks can achieve. Many of its key pieces have much to say about our world and how art relates to it. The exhibition has wowed audiences all over the world and is coming to the UK for the first time at the Old Truman Brewery.

 

Top Tip:  Try and visit after school on a Thursday - Tickets are cheaper and it stays open later on Thursdays.

When: 26 Sept 2014 - 4 Jan 2015 opens 10am and last entry 5pm (Sun-Weds), 7pm (Thurs) and 6pm (Fri and Sat).

Who:  Suitable for all ages

Cost: Prices vary depending on which day you go and how old you are.  Adult tickets approx £15 and child tickets approx £9.  A family ticket covering 2 adults and 2 children is £40 if you go Mon-Thurs.
